Funding Servicer

About the Role


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Funding Servicer to join our busy real estate law office in Needham, MA. This role plays a critical part in the real estate closing and funding process, ensuring all transactions are accurate, compliant, and completed on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in real estate closings, mortgage funding, title processing, or banking operations who are comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and process a high volume of daily funding files (40–100 per day) with accuracy and efficiency
  • Review closing documents to ensure completeness, including dates, amounts, signatures, and required approvals
  • Confirm receipt of lender wires and coordinate timely disbursement of funds
  • Prepare and send overnight packages to borrowers, lenders, and third parties
  • Support file setup by assisting with ordering payoffs, taxes, and opening new files
  • Review title commitments and return finalized closing packages to lenders
  • Partner with paralegals and team members to quickly resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure all funding and post-closing documentation is complete and properly processed

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in real estate closings, mortgage funding, title processing, or banking operations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with repetitive tasks
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet daily deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Qualia is a plus
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
